<a href="https://metaplanet.jp/">Metaplanet</a>, listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under the ticker 3350, announced on July 1 that it has made an additional bitcoin purchase.&nbsp; 
Following the company’s disclosure on June 24 about plans to acquire BTC worth 1 billion yen ($6.2 million), Metaplanet has initiated the purchase with an investment of 200 million yen.&nbsp; 
This transaction involved buying 20.195 bitcoins at an average price of 9,903,441 yen per BTC.&nbsp; 
With this purchase, Metaplanet’s total bitcoin holdings now stand at 161.2677 bitcoins, acquired at an average price of 10,231,438 yen per coin, amounting to a cumulative investment of 1.65 billion yen.&nbsp; 
This strategic move underscores Metaplanet’s increasing commitment to cryptocurrency investments, reflecting a broader trend of institutional interest in digital assets.
