This regulatory gap raises concerns about a potential "brain drain" of talent and companies from the U.S. to more accommodating overseas markets.</p>
<p>As the 2024 presidential election approaches, crypto regulation is becoming an increasingly salient political issue. Both major parties are beginning to recognize the importance of addressing blockchain and cryptocurrency policy, with some candidates actively courting the crypto vote. The upcoming presidential debates may see discussions on U.S. technological leadership, including its stance on emerging technologies like blockchain and AI.</p>
