Samson Mow took a jibe at politicians expressing support for Bitcoin (BTC) on Sunday, noting that politicians were expressing support without an understanding of the technology.

Mow, in a spicy tweet, warned the pro-crypto politicians on their lack of understanding of BTC and other cryptocurrencies.&nbsp;
At press time, BTC was hovering at $68,350.01, after an intraday drop of 1.05% with a market cap of $1,347,297,564,939 and $19,125,686,993 in 24-hour volume.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

According to Mow, many politicians don’t differentiate between BTC and other cryptos. The pro-crypto are not aware of BTC’s unique traits like its decentralized, permissionless, and censorship-resistant nature.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
Considering BTC with other<a href="https://www.thecoinrepublic.com/2024/04/30/uniswap-driving-surge-in-l2-trading-will-it-be-enough-to-fight-the-sec/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow"> cryptocurrencies</a> could impact the innovation and growth of the cryptocurrency market.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
“Without a strong BTC ethos, this shift only paves the way for the next FTX/Luna/Genesis, &amp; once again, we will pay for it.”, he added.&nbsp;

Mow’s comment also sought the attention of the crypto community toward Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr (RFK Jr.). Donald Trump has recently announced the acceptance of cryptocurrencies like BTC, Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE), etc.&nbsp;
RFK Jr. is also bullish on cryptocurrency and considers digital assets as the best hedge against inflation. According to him, crypto will take control away from the government and strengthen the financial banking system.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
However, Mow has expressed support for Trump.

Many community members supported Mow and agreed with his statement. According to the community, the next battle is to teach individuals and politicians about the key differences between BTC and other crypto.
One of the enthusiasts also discussed the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century (FIT21) bill and its influence on securities law in America.
The FIT21 bill provides consumer protection and regulatory certainty. The bill would permit digital innovation to flourish in the United States and establish clear federal needs over digital asset markets.
