<p>The third month of 2023 is coming to a close with a hint of pessimism due to a new <a href="https://finbold.com/binance-ceo-refuses-to-back-down-amidst-cftcs-damning-allegations/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">regulatory offensive</a> on the world’s largest <a href="https://finbold.com/guide/cryptocurrency-trading/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">cryptocurrency trading</a> platform <a href="https://finbold.com/review/binance-review/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Binance</a>. Specifically, Twitter user <em>DogeDesigner </em>expressed to Musk the desire to visit the Twitter HQ, to which the prominent DOGE advocate jokingly <a href="https://twitter.com/cb_doge/status/1638759379674513409" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">replied</a> it would “cost 3 Doge,” sending its price up.</p><p>At the same time, the Dogecoin Foundation released a <a href="https://twitter.com/michilumin/status/1639033391579549697" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">major update</a> to its libdogecoin toolset that included several new features, fixes, and improvements, such as the QR code support, which, combined with the community’s enthusiasm related to Musk’s support, indicates a chance of further strengthening from its current price of $0.07229.</p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/srd-optimized-uploads/80b48ece151e4328954526c82c27d7c2.png" /><p><em>Dogecoin YTD price chart. Source: <a href="https://finbold.com/cryptocurrency/vechain/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Finbold</a></em></p><h2 id="header-4">Fantom (FTM)</h2><p>Finally, Fantom (<a href="https://finbold.com/cryptocurrency/fantom/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">FTM</a>) recently announced its plans to modify the requirements for validator <a href="https://finbold.com/guide/cryptocurrency-staking-guide/#What_is_cryptocurrency_staking" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">staking</a> on its platform, reducing the minimum requirement to a more budget-friendly 50,000, 75,000, or 100,000 FTM, from the previously exorbitant 3.175 million FTM, that was subsequently reduced to 500,000 FTM (compared to Ethereum’s 32 <a href="https://finbold.com/cryptocurrency/ethereum/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ETH</a>).</p><p>Furthermore, Fantom has also <a href="https://twitter.com/FantomFDN/status/1632761532764307462" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">introduced</a> a new mainnet upgrade that promises to speed up P2P and block processing times by 30%, as well as allow the network to process certain files and search logs more quickly.
