<p>Without hardware security devices, passkeys, or a multiparty computation network, Aptos Connect lets consumers link their Google login to decentralized apps (dApps). Using Google logins instead of conventional secret keys or mnemonic phrases helps the user create and manage accounts.</p>
<p>“Aptos Connect allows users to create and manage an Aptos blockchain account by signing in with their existing Google accounts,” Aptos has said.</p>
<p>This creative solution uses Aptos Keyless, which uses <a href="https://www.crypto-news-flash.com/polygons-agglayer-revolutionizing-blockchain-fusion-with-zero-knowledge-proofs/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">zero-knowledge proofs</a> to link a user’s social account to their blockchain account, therefore removing the need for seed phrases and guaranteeing a completely web-based experience on desktop and mobile browsers.</p>
