It is with great pleasure that we can announce that <a href="https://twitter.com/FoxWallet" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">FoxWallet</a> has integrated the Solana name service! They have integrated .sol domains on Solana and managed to be the first wallet to integrate SNS on the BNB Smart Chain. This allows for efficient payments on both chains - you can use your .sol to send and receive funds instead of the chains’ respective pubkeys.<h2 id="header-0">Wait, how do I do that?</h2>By now, sending and receiving funds with a .sol domain on Solana is probably well understood. However, if you’ve missed this utility, you can have a look at our guide <a href="https://docs.bonfida.org/collection/using-sns/sollet-integration" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">here</a>.<h3 id="bridging-your-domain">Bridging your domain</h3>Our latest feature enables you to use your domain in a similar manner on BNB. To transact with a .sol domain name on BNB you first need to bridge your domain. The process is quite simple:Select “View domain” of the domain you want to bridge to BNB<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/format:webp/1*_SWAizDUKEtyHaCOYJsFZQ.png" />Next, click the button that enables you to bridge your domain<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/format:webp/1*RupQYydDQM6PoVgS86mEWQ.png" />Lastly, paste your BNB address and bridge your domain. Once the transaction is approved your domain is officially resolved on BNB<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/format:webp/1*-VPlqmzjmENq3Q8FCWMy1w.png" />For a more detailed guide on domain name bridging, this <a href="https://docs.bonfida.org/collection/cross-chain-domain-experimental" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">outlined process</a> can be followed.<h3 id="using-foxwallet-to-send-and-receive-funds-with-sns">Using FoxWallet to send and receive funds with SNS</h3>Now that the domain has successfully been bridged to BNB, you can use FoxWallet to transact with it.Download the <a href="https://foxwallet.com/download" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">FoxWallet app</a> and import or create a new BNB wallet. Go to your BNB account and select send. Instead of entering the long BNB address, you can use a .sol domain name to send and it will properly resolve to the wallet address set!<img src="https://miro.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:1400/format:webp/1*G3teEwNXPCwuDqI6cahWUg.png" />If the domain you want to send or receive to has not been bridged to the BNB chain it will show an invalid address.<h2 id="header-1">Closing note</h2>It’s an honor working with projects like FoxWallet which embody the same vision as Bonfida; respecting decentralization, security as well as interoperability between chains.
