In a significant development on March 29, 2024, SingularityNET announced a proposed merger with Fetch.ai and Ocean Protocol to form the Artificial Super Intelligence Alliance. Following approval from both AGIX and FET coin holders, the merger was initiated in May 2024, allowing AGIX, FET, and OCEAN coin holders to swap their coins for ASI coins at predetermined rates.
