Balchunas highlighted the growing interest in leveraged Bitcoin ETFs, noting that existing products from ProShares and VolShares already have around $2 billion in combined assets.

In addition, this launch is timely, coinciding with a dynamic period in the <a href="https://coingape.com/glossary/cryptocurrency/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">cryptocurrency</a> market. The debut of Spot Bitcoin ETFs in January has spurred trading volumes and optimism for digital assets. 
In the past six months, Spot Bitcoin ETFs have accumulated nearly $50 billion in assets.
