Bitcoin is no longer steadily holding the $60,000 mark, with its price dipping even below $55,000 shortly last week, before retracing back to $57,000.

This Bitcoin price drop follows significant movements by the German government and Mt. Gox.
On July 4th, a government-linked crypto wallet transferred 1,300 BTC to Coinbase, Kraken, and Bitstamp, according to PeckShieldAlert.
This is part of over 3,000 BTC moved to various exchanges in the past two weeks, suggesting a planned sell-off. These funds, nearly 50,000 BTC since February 2024, are believed to be from the seized Movie2k assets. This has heightened selling pressure, causing BTC to drop by about 15%.
Adding to the pressure, Mt. Gox is moving closer to repaying its creditors with over 140,000 BTC, worth around $8.5 billion.
Arkham Intelligence reports minor transfers from Mt. Gox wallets, potentially tests for upcoming repayments. These transactions, including one to Bitbank, signal preparations for repaying 127,000 creditors in July. The long-awaited repayments have sparked fears of increased sell-offs, pushing BTC prices down further.
