<p></p><p>We are happy to update you on the latest developments and community news of 2024 so far! March has ended, and we have a lot to share with you. Our team started off the year by releasing the roadmap, which outlines our goals for the future of the Qtum ecosystem. This edition of the update is short but packed with important information.</p><h2 id="header-0">Update on Qtum’s 2024 Roadmap</h2><p>Read the complete article: <u><a href="https://qtum.org/news/march-29-qtum-development-roadmap-progress-report" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">March 29th Roadmap Progress Report</a></u></p><h3 id="bridge">Bridge</h3><p>The Circle Bridged USDC Standard contracts have been deployed on Ethereum Sepolia and Qtum testnet for a more trusted way of moving USDC from Ethereum to other EVM-compatible chains like Qtum. The contract addresses can be found on Sepolia and Qtum testnet. The beta version of the MetaMask Snap implementation for Qtum has been deployed to their GitHub repository and will be audited by Consensys. The Certik bridge audit is 99% complete, according to Certik’s website: <a href="https://skynet.certik.com/projects/qtum" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">https://skynet.certik.com/projects/qtum</a></p><p><img src="https://academy-public.coinmarketcap.com/optimized-uploads/d982c287517049d8ba5611f7b8c2f73d.png" /></p><h3 id="brc-20">BRC 20</h3><p>Qtum blockchain is implementing Ordinals, which will allow users to inscribe information onto the Qtum satoshi level. This is sometimes a more efficient and permanent way of doing NFTs, depending on the smart contract deployment. The ordinals indexer has been deployed on the Qtum mainnet, and code testing is ongoing while the UI design has been finalized.</p><h3 id="qtum-core">Qtum Core</h3><p>Delegating Qtum tokens to an offline staking node using a Ledger device is now possible. This update took a while to get merged into “Ledger Live,” and it requires the user to use the Qtum Electrum wallet alongside their Ledger device. We are thrilled to be attending once again.</p><p>Arte by Crypto Oasis is a community platform that brings together people and groups interested in Web3. It serves as a hub for local and international Web3-related collaborations, creations, and connections.
