Uruguay stands out as a pioneer in renewable energy production, deriving over 98% of its electricity from renewable resources, with wind and hydro-power being the primary sources, as the U.S. International Trade Administration reported. This makes the country a fitting choice for Tether&#8217;s eco-friendly mining operation.



Earlier in the month, Tether announced a change in its treasury management strategy, with plans to allocate a fraction of its net profit towards bitcoin investment.
