Parallel Studios, the developer behind the Ethereum NFT card game Parallel, has announced its next crypto game, Colony, on the Solana network.&nbsp;
Unlike Parallel, Colony will be built on Solana and will feature a unique gameplay experience powered by generative AI.
Colony is described as a “survival simulation” game where players control autonomous agents with their own personalities and objectives.&nbsp;
“Avatars will respond to suggestions, in some cases interpreting them in light of other objectives they may have—even potentially rejecting their owner’s suggestion if they deem it to be out of character or in conflict with another objective they are pursuing,” <a href="https://t.co/m1ub8218jt" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">according</a> to the whitepaper.
Colony will initially be built around the existing Parallel Avatar NFTs.&nbsp;
The whitepaper suggests that PRIME token holders could vote on a governance proposal to mint more avatars on Solana.&nbsp;
The PRIME token from Ethereum will be used in the game as a wrapped token bridged to Solana and also awarded to players as in-game crypto rewards.&nbsp;

However, players will need to own an NFT avatar to earn crypto rewards.&nbsp;
A “free-to-play” version will be available, but those users will not be able to earn PRIME rewards, hold onto items, mint items as unique NFTs, or transfer items outside of the game.
Parallel Studios expects to launch a public alpha version of Colony in Q4 2024 or Q1 2025.&nbsp;
The PRIME token surged to an all-time high of $27.90 on March 18, gaining over 45% in the past week following the launch of the Colony whitepaper.
