<p>Fidelity has changed its spot ether ETF application to include provisions for staking the cryptocurrency. Staking is a process where one actively participates in transaction validation on a proof-of-stake blockchain such as Ethereum to earn rewards. Considering the staking activity of the fund, it would receive network rewards of ether tokens, which will be the income to the Fund as compensation for the services. Since its Spot BTC ETF approval in January, Fidelity has gathered 132,000+ BTC worth over $9 Billion. A giant Fidelity staking ether can change the entire ecosystem of Ethereum.</p>
