Unlike traditional banking applications or credit cards, security-focused blockchain technology requires manual signing of transactions using a private key. This can become a problem when a user cannot sign a transaction themselves.Many Web3 projects, including Cardstack, are working to solve this challenge through a concept called account abstraction, which allows a smart contract to execute a transaction on behalf of the user without requiring a private key-based signoff for each transaction.
