The popular <a href="https://newslinker.co/category/gaming/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-wpel-link="exclude">game</a> Hamster Kombat on Telegram is experiencing a significant delay in its HMSTR token AirDrop event. The anticipated major event was postponed due to the potential risk of overload on The Open Network (TON) Blockchain. Around 300 million players and <a href="https://finance.coin-turk.com/" data-wpel-link="exclude">investors</a> are eagerly waiting to know when the token distribution will occur. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-technical-issues-cause-airdrop-delay-strong">Technical Issues Cause AirDrop Delay</h2> 
The Hamster Kombat team announced that the HMSTR token AirDrop initially planned for this month has been delayed due to technical issues. Distributing tokens to such a large user base on the TON Blockchain has unsurprisingly become more complex than expected.

The team assured that all registered players would receive their tokens, but the amount each person receives will depend on their participation in various in-game activities. The only mandatory step to receive tokens is to link the TON wallet to the player profile. 
<h2 style="text-align: justify" id="strong-okx-and-other-exchanges-to-list-hmstr-token-strong">OKX and Other Exchanges to List HMSTR Token</h2> 
Despite the uncertainty of the AirDrop date, the HMSTR token is gaining significant interest in pre-market trading. The OKX exchange announced that it would list the HMSTR token for pre-market futures trading. Other <a href="https://en.coin-turk.com/ftx-executives-reportedly-helping-to-establish-a-new-crypto-exchange-in-dubai/" data-wpel-link="internal">cryptocurrency exchanges</a> like ByBit, KuCoin, Gate.io, and BitGet are following suit. 
According to Hamster Kombat’s whitepaper, 60% of the HMSTR token supply will be distributed to players, with the remaining supply used for partnerships, market liquidity, and other purposes. The development team will not sell their token allocations but aims to create a sustainable business model. 
Meanwhile, another tap-to-earn game, TapSwap, is also facing a similar delay as Hamster Kombat. TapSwap, planning to hold its token generation event (TGE) in the third quarter of 2024, has yet to announce a specific date. TapSwap’s founder Naz Ventura stated that they are working to deliver the best product and will announce the date when everything is ready. 
Both Hamster Kombat and TapSwap recently followed in the footsteps of the leading tap-to-earn game Notcoin, which distributed 80 billion NOT tokens, awarding approximately 1 billion dollars in rewards.
