<p>Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, is winding down its integration of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on its platforms. The shutdown will allow the company to focus on other ways of supporting creators, people, and businesses. The company won&#39;t give up on its mission to help creators connect with their fans but will pivot its focus toward other products, such as Reels for messaging and monetization.   Meta will also continue to work with NFT and Web3 content creators who use its suite of tools to grow their community.
