We would like to describe MARBLEX in the perspective of technology applied to the MBX token. The MBX token is a Klaytn Compatible Token (“KCT”) based on Klaytn blockchain. The Klaytn technology is designed to provide high performance extensively and thus features high transaction processing. At the same time, KCT is based on the Istanbul BFT consensus algorithm and is a mainnet that assures reliability and transparency. Based on the strength of KCT, MBX can also process the high transaction of game content quickly and provide reliability to users under transparent operation/management.

On the other hand, in terms of usage, the MBX token is used within the MARBLEX ecosystem where users encounter key ecosystem creators mostly around game tokens and MBX tokens. Key parties are publishers, game developers, and service providers. With the introduction of the MARBLEx token system, to the existing gaming business ecosystem, the role of a service provider was added. Within the game token structure enabled by the service provider, users can experience not only quality content provided by publishers and developers but the token economy based thereon. While playing games, users will have opportunities for profit-generating activities.

Netmarble, mother company of MARBLEx, has been leading the global game market with innovative attempts since its establishment in 2000. Strike is a DeFi lending protocol that allows users to earn interest on their cryptocurrencies by depositing them into one of several markets supported by the platform.

When a user deposits tokens to a Strike market, they receive sTokens in return. These sTokens represent the individual’s stake in the pool and can be used to redeem the underlying cryptocurrency initially deposited into the pool at any time. For example, by depositing ETH into a pool, you will receive sETH in return. Over time, the exchange rate of these sTokens to the underlying asset increases, which means you can redeem them for more of the underlying asset than you initially put in — this is how the interest is distributed.

On the flip side, borrowers can take a secured loan from any Strike pool by depositing collateral. The maximum loan-to-value (LTV) ratio varies based on the collateral asset, but currently ranges from 50 to 80%. The interest rate paid varies by borrowed asset and borrowers can face automatic liquidation if their collateral falls below a specific maintenance threshold.

The Suterusu Protocol is a second-layer private payment infrastructure for smart contract platforms. The Suterusu Protocol uses the original and most advanced ZK-ConSnark algorithm that does not require a trusted setup. The algorithm’s proof size is significantly reduced and the proof generation and verification efficiency are greatly improved compared with similar solutions. Since no trusted setup is required, it is safe and transparent. The technical paper has been accepted by Eurocrypt 2021(https://eurocrypt.iacr.org/2021/acceptedpapers.php, https://eprint.iacr.org/2021/540). OpenDAO calls itself “the token of the metaverse” and aims to become a central asset for the metaverse and Web3, in a similar fashion as stablecoins like USDC. OpenDAO launched its SOS token on Christmas Day 2021 via an airdrop to all users that had bought, sold or traded NFTs on marketplace OpenSea.
