Pitbull (PIT) is a community-driven, dog-themed meme coin on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Bitgert (BRISE) is a crypto engineering project launched in July 2021 that specializes in blockchain products and centralized exchange. Initially, Bitgert was built on BNB Chain and used BNB, its native token, to pay rewards. However one of the most significant Bitgert developments was presented in 2022: the BRC20 blockchain. It offers near-zero gas fees and high speed cross-chain transactions. More specifically, the gas fee is $0.0000000000001 per transaction, while the supported throughput is up to 100,000 TPS.

Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) is the ShibaSwap decentralized exchange (DEX) governance token with voting functionality. BONE allows the Shiba Inu community, also known as Shib Army, to vote on upcoming proposals, submit proposals and access future NFTs. The more BONE tokens users have, the more significant their votes are.

BONE is the Ethereum-based token in the Shiba ecosystem, including Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Doge Killer (LEASH) tokens. According to the Shiba Inu website, SHIB is the "Dogecoin (DOGE) killer." Due to its popularity, the project is the second-largest dog-inspired memecoin in the crypto space.

The ShibaSwap exchange was launched on July 7, 2021 to allow platform users to trade their SHIB tokens for other cryptos. BONE is a middle link in the ecosystem. Peercoin, also known as PPC or Peer-to-Peer Coin, was created by Sunny King and his team and launched in August 2012. It is the first blockchain to implement Proof-of-Stake consensus.

The primary inspiration behind the creation of Peercoin was to address a number of perceived shortcomings of Bitcoin, including energy efficiency, security and sustainability, decentralization and long-term viability.

Essentially it was designed as an enhanced replacement for Bitcoin. As such, it was originally forked from Bitcoin and uses the same UTXO style blockchain. However, Peercoin's code was modified to introduce Proof-of-Stake as its primary consensus protocol. The next section explains how this makes for a better blockchain.

Given that Peercoin uses most of the same code, it can easily port new features from Bitcoin and utilize any of the supporting infrastructure, including tech advancements like Taproot or Lightning Network. Peercoin is the only Proof-of-Stake blockchain that uses modern Bitcoin code, making it the perfect drop-in replacement.

Peercoin also has a dedicated community, is actively developed, fairly distributed, has low barriers of participation, can do everything that Bitcoin does, minus the 13 TWh of energy usage, and it's not a scam.

OpenDAO calls itself “the token of the metaverse” and aims to become a central asset for the metaverse and Web3, in a similar fashion as stablecoins like USDC. OpenDAO launched its SOS token on Christmas Day 2021 via an airdrop to all users that had bought, sold or traded NFTs on marketplace OpenSea.
