Proof of Liquidity is a mechanism that fundamentally aligns validators, applications and users to drive eco growth

PoL rewards active participants with rewards and introduces new forms of value generation for validators, dapps, and users who are delegating their BGT. 
Validators: In addition to standard validator commissions can earn protocols' native tokens in exchange for BGT.

Dapps: Earn BGT via their reward vault to bootstrap liquidity.

Users: Receive a portion of their validators' incentives + native dapp fees in the form of HONEY.
In PoS, validators receive commissions for building blocks. On Berachain, validators receive commissions for building blocks that scale with the amount of BGT delegated to them, and have the opportunity to earn incentives in the form of dapps' native tokens in exchange for BGT.
Dapps on Berachain can deploy reward vaults that can receive BGT validators once approved through governance. These vaults incentivize users to take defined actions on a given dapp to earn the rights to stake in their vault and earn a portion of that BGT.

PoL could be used by applications to bootstrap the liquidity for their token on BEX, or earn BGT by staking into their own vault. This ties in with the concept of POL^2 dubbed by @eatsleepyeet.

In a PoS or dPos system, users earn rewards by staking to help secure the network.

In PoL, users can delegate their BGT to validators to earn a share of the incentives received by that validator.

Additionally, users who delegate their BGT to a validator will also earn fees collected by the native apps, or other PoL-enabled apps directing fees to delegators in the form of HONEY.
PoL creates a new way for participants to work together to grow the network while allowing each player to prioritize their interests. PoL offers participants ongoing, predictable rewards for their participation, creating conditions for long-term, sustainable growth.

Proof of Liquidity not only attracts new liquidity into the ecosystem but also makes that liquidity productive and incentivizes that liquidity to stay.

In this thread, we'll walk through the PoL flywheel, serving users, validators, and dapps 
In order for a user to participate in PoL and start earning rewards in the form of incentives and fees from apps, they need BGT. The only way to acquire BGT is to supply their capital into the ecosystem via reward vaults, boosting liquidity in the ecosystem.
Once a user has BGT, they can either delegate it to a validator or burn it for BERA.

Delegating gives the user access to new revenue streams & increases network security by putting more assets at risk for being slashed.
By delegating, the user “boosts” this validator, allowing them to earn more BGT. Validators' block-building rewards scale linearly with the amount of BGT delegated to them, & this increases network security by increasing the incentive for that validator to secure the network.
As a result:
1. The user can receive some of the incentives filled by the validators they delegate to.
2. The user will earn fees from the native dapps in the form of HONEY.
As liquidity deepens and more users earn rewards from PoL, the ecosystem becomes more attractive for new users and teams.

These new entrants to the ecosystem also want to participate in PoL, and the cycle starts over.
Those who participate most in PoL and earn the most BGT get to determine the recipients of BGT by voting on which reward vaults to approve via governance.
PoL is a mechanism that provides ongoing, predictable rewards for making capital productive.

Users get new revenue streams, dapps bootstrap liquidity faster and cheaper, and validators get to be strategic about distributing their block rewards.
