OpenOcean Monthly Digest: April 2023

It’s been a really fun month here at OpenOcean in April. We’ve seen numerous partnerships, integrations and developments all towards pushing OpenOcean forward on our journey to be the best value platform in the world of web3 and DeFi. From wallet Integrations to Gamified Dex partnerships and Eth Staking, OpenOcean hasn’t slowed down in April and we definitely show no signs of that slowing down anytime soon!

Major highlights of the month

• MetaMask has directly integrated OpenOcean as a provider for their on-chain swaps on 6 different chains. MetaMask will use the advanced pathing routes provided by OpenOcean to access liquidity for users at the best prices on the market. View our announcement here!

• OpenOcean has launched its dex aggregation service on the zkSync Era blockchain providng best swap rate. zkSync Era is a popular L2 scaling solution for the Eth main chain. Launch partners for this include Mute, SyncSwap, Velocore, GemSwap, Space Finance and Izumi Swap.

• The OpenOcean Liquid Ethereum Staking Aggregator launched shortly after the Shapella upgrade to much fanfare. Featuring all of the top LSD tokens, boosted earnings pools and OpenOceans market buying edge.

Integrations and Developments

• BNB Dex giants ‘Thena’ deploy and use the OpenOcean trade router to power their on-chain swaps and help boost value for all users on BNB.

• Buffer Finance on Arbitrum and Sonne Finance on Optimism both natively integrate the OpenOcean trading and swap widget on their platforms. For more widget info, click here.

• OpenOcean launches its popular dex aggregation service on the Kava L1 blockchain incorporating swap liquidity from multiple dexes for the lowest fees on Kava.
• PancakeSwap v3 pools on Eth and BNB go live on OpenOcean, enhancing swaps and squeezing maximum value out of concentrated liquidity pools.
• The early April Sushi Swap hack prompts cautioned response from other DeFi protocols with OpenOcean pushing its secure contract revocation tool.
• OpenOcean partners with gamified DEX Sparta to boost Arbitrum visibility and unlock on-chain DeFi gaming potential.
