Amihan Entertainment, the developer behind the Telegram game Farm Frens and the upcoming tower defense game Everseed, has confirmed that a token launch and airdrop will take place next month on the Ethereum layer-2 network Base.
This announcement was made via the official Farm Frens Twitter account, although a specific date for the airdrop has not been disclosed.
The token distribution is set for January 2025, and the allocations will be based on in-game activities. Players' earnings of Nuts, Dirt, and Dung in Farm Frens will factor into the airdrop, alongside the Everseed NFTs—Ranger, Sprout, and Diddit—that users hold.
To qualify for the airdrop, participants must connect their wallets through the Farm Frens Telegram mini app.
Kenneth Liu, co-founder of Amihan Entertainment, emphasized that the exact date of the airdrop will not be revealed in advance, aiming to create an element of surprise. He mentioned that the airdrop will come with teasers, encouraging players to stay alert.
The development of Everseed aims to create a more interconnected experience with Farm Frens.
Liu noted that the studio plans to unite the two games further beyond just the token distribution, hinting at future interactive features that blend gaming with AI.
Liu disclosed that the character Amani, branded as the first “Fren,” has been voiced and piloted by AI throughout the game's development. This indicates Amihan Entertainment’s shift towards integrating AI technologies in their gaming projects, which the studio plans to expand upon in the future.
