Today, Bloktopia has announced the launch of the $BLOK token on the Arbitrum chain.
Arbitrum is cheap and quick to use, and relays all transaction information back to the main Ethereum blockchain. While Ethereum manages a mere 14 transactions per second, Arbitrum races ahead at 40,000 TPS. Transactions cost several dollars to complete on Ethereum, while they cost about two cents on Arbitrum.
Today, the latest private investor distribution has happened on the Arbitrum chain.
The addition of new chains added to the $BLOK network will not increase the supply of $BLOK token, the total supply will remain the same.
Configuring your wallet for Arbitrum
- Adding Arbitrum functionality to your wallet involves adding some simple network details to Metamask. First, open Metamask and click the network dropdown menu.
2. Now, click [Add Network] on the pop-up.
3. You’ll need to add the following details on the [Add a network] page that will open. Click [Save] when you’re finished:
Network Name: Arbitrum One
Chain ID: 42161
Currency Symbol: ETH

Adding Arbitrum tokens to MetaMask
For Arbitrum tokens to appear on the wallet UI, you need to manually add them. Note your wallet will still receive tokens that haven’t been imported, but they just won’t show up natively.
- Head to MetaMask and click (Import tokens).
- Paste in the token’s contract address for Arb $BLOK (0x9DCE8e754913d928eB39Bc4fC3CF047e364f7f2C)and MetaMask should fill in the rest of the details.
- To finish, click [Add Custom Token].
- Your wallet will now display the balance of the token you just added.
