Released on May 9, 2023, OKX’s 60-second video campaign concludes with a critique of what it perceives as flaws in the centralized financial system. While Coinbase is not directly mentioned in the video, it seems to indirectly target Coinbase’s slogan.

It remains to be seen how effective OKX’s campaign will be in convincing users to move away from centralized players and towards a decentralized financial system. However, the exchange’s decision to take on Coinbase in its advertising suggests that competition in the cryptocurrency market is heating up. OKX enlisted the help of BBDO New York, its advertising agency, to produce the campaign.
