Coinbase CEO Urges US Citizens to Support FIT21 Bill for Regulatory Clarity.

Coinbase CEO, Brian Armstrong, has called on US citizens to email their representatives to vote in favor of the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21 Century Act (FIT21) bill. The bill aims to provide regulatory clarity for the cryptocurrency industry in terms of the differences in jurisdiction between securities and commodities regulators. Armstrong stated that the bill will protect Americans’ digital assets, innovation, and national security while promoting job opportunities for crypto firms. With regulatory uncertainty in the US, some crypto firms have been testing other regions of the world for regulatory ease of use.
