Cathie Wood’s Ark Invest has partnered with 21 Shares to launch a new suite of ETFs offering exposure to digital assets. The five products will invest in bitcoin and ethereum futures contracts, in addition to a mix of public equities engaged in the blockchain industry. The ETFs do not invest directly in bitcoin or other digital assets. The products will be listed on the Chicago Board Options Exchange and will begin trading next week. The launch comes as the world of traditional finance and crypto awaits a decision on spot bitcoin ETFs being pursued by firms including Fidelity, Grayscale, and BlackRock.
