The f(x) Protocol is a DeFi solution that addresses the need for a stable asset in the cryptocurrency space while mitigating centralization risks and capital efficiency issues. It was conceived by Aladdin DAO; the banking crisis in March, combined with the depegging of USDC, highlighted the need for a new type of stable asset. The xETH token, also called leveraged ETH, is a decentralized, composable leveraged long ETH futures contract with a low risk of liquidations and 0 funding fee (and in extreme cases, xETH minters can earn fees).
