Dogecoin20 (DOGE20) is one of the newest Ethereum chain meme coins set to launch in April - first opening its presale in mid-March of this year and selling out in record time, raising $10 million.
The project’s original plan was to launch on April 20, popularly known as Doge Day.&nbsp;
Due to the high demand, the Dogecoin20 presale reached its hard cap goal earlier than expected and has now scheduled its claim and launch date for April 18th at 10:00 UTC.

Of course, this means that it is currently not possible to buy DOGE20 on its presale page anymore and that the first opportunity to do so will be after the token launches on DEX.
In other words, given the demand, the DOGE20 price might skyrocket almost as soon as the project goes live. Those who seek to profit from the expected price movement will only have a short window of opportunity post-launch to buy DOGE20 at a low price. After that, the project’s value might rapidly increase if the demand mirrors the presale's.
Popular crypto YouTuber ClayBro, who has 125,000 subscribers, predicts that DOGE20 can return 'huge gains' post-launch.

<h2 dir="ltr" id="span-why-is-dogecoin20-so-popular-span">Why is Dogecoin20 so popular?</h2>
Dogecoin20 did not only attract attention for being a meme coin. While this certainly brought it the attention of the sector, the fact is that the project became a spiritual successor to the original Dogecoin, only it also introduced a number of changes that significantly improved it.
For example, DOGE20 is an ERC-20 token — a cryptocurrency created on Ethereum’s network. Ever since Ethereum switched to Proof of Stake, its network significantly reduced its carbon footprint, and the same is true for all ERC-20 tokens running on it.
Secondly, Dogecoin20’s launch on Ethereum also allows the project to offer staking services to its holders, granting them the ability to earn passive rewards simply by locking up their tokens.
Another significant change compared to the original DOGE is the fact that DOGE20 has a capped total supply. While it is still quite large, sitting at 140 billion tokens, this is still much better than Dogecoin’s infinite total supply. It resolves the issue of inflation that the original DOGE will forever have to struggle with, making DOGE20 a better option right from the start.
All of this combined makes DOGE20 a better and more promising cryptocurrency. While Dogecoin will forever have its place in crypto history due to it being the first-ever meme coin, the fact is that projects like Dogecoin20 have far surpassed it in terms of utility, quality, technology, and other aspects.&nbsp;
