Energy Web Token (EWT) is the native utility token securing and operating the Energy Web decentralised technology platform. The platform consists of two primary layers: the public and permissionless nominated proof-of-stake blockchain, Energy Web X, and the Verified Compute Cloud for off-chain business logic computation, underpinning solutions for energy and sustainability markets.

EWT circulates as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, which serves as a primary settlement and custody environment. A validator-governed, bidirectional bridge connects Ethereum and the Energy Web X (EWX) proof-of-stake network preserving total supply and utility while enabling use across both networks.

Energy Web Chain (EWC), the original proof-of-authority network where EWT was first launched in June 2019, remains operational exclusively for archival and backward-compatibility purposes.

EWT token has been included in the European Securities and Markets Authority - ESMA register In November 2025 to ensure MiCA compliance.

Reef provides the technical foundation for projects tokenizing real estate, sports equity, and other alternative assets targeting non-accredited retail investors. Polkastarter is a decentralized fundraising platform empowering Web3 projects to launch and raise funds through multi-chain token pools whilst significantly growing their communities.

The platform supports initial dex offerings (IDOs) across major blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Polkadot, Polygon, Avalanche and Celo.

The platform enables investors to secure early access to IDOs, NFTs and Gaming Web3 innovation. It is most commonly used by early-stage blockchain projects that want to raise capital and easily distribute their tokens at the same time.

Through Polkastarter, blockchain projects can easily create their own fixed-chain swap pools, which allow them to securely raise funds, while users can invest without risks, since swaps are automatically executed by smart contracts.

POLS is the native utility token of the Polkastarter platform. Its main utility is gaining access to pools and giving projects the option to give priority access to POLS holders. Users are incentivised to stake POLS, rewarding the most loyal members.

In Q4 2022, Polkastarter will release new community utility features, such as governance and POLS Power Boosters (increasing your allowlisting success). The platform first went live in December 2020, and has quickly grown to become one of the most commonly used platforms for initial DEX offerings (IDOs) operating on the Ethereum blockchain.

Serum is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and ecosystem that brings unprecedented speed and low transaction costs to decentralized finance (DeFi). (DeFi).

Serum is the only high-performant DEX designed around a fully on-chain central limit order book and matching engine. Ecosystem partners can compose with Serum’s on-chain orderbook to share liquidity and power their trading features for institutional and retail users.

In light of the popularity of DeFi and the growth of DEXes on Ethereum, users and developers are limited by high gas costs and slow transactions. Serum aims to resolve these traditional problems of DeFi, as well as issues of centralization, low capital efficiency, and liquidity segmentation.

The SRM utility and governance token enables users to receive discounts on protocol fees and voting rights; 100% of exchange fees flow back to SRM via buy-and-burn, staking rewards, and ecosystem grants.

Moonriver is an Ethereum-compatible, smart-contract parachain on Kusama. It is intended to be a companion network to Moonbeam, where it will provide a permanently incentivized canary network. New code will ship to Moonriver first, where it can be tested and verified under real economic conditions. Once proven, the same code will ship to Moonbeam on Polkadot.

It does this by providing a full EVM implementation, a Web3-compatible API, and bridges that connect Moonriver to existing Ethereum networks.

This allows developers to deploy existing Solidity smart contracts and DApp frontends to Moonriver with minimal changes.

xDai is a cryptocurrency that is pegged to the US dollar. The xDai chain is a stable payment blockchain that is designed for fast and inexpensive transactions. STAKE is secured by proof-of-stake consensus. xDai was founded on Oct. 1, 2018.

STAKE is a multi-chain staking token that is designed to secure the payment layer. Staking allows validators and delegators to provide transaction consensus and receive staking incentives for block production. It is only required for consensus providers, not everyday on-chain transactions.

xDai was created by the POA Network, an open-source public side-chain of Ethereum founded in April 2017. It offers a framework for smart contracts which provides developers with an easy and effective way to code on Ethereum, while also leveraging the POA Network capabilities.

STAKE

Secret Network is a layer-1 blockchain built on Cosmos which uses TEE technology to ensure all input, output, and state are encrypted by default. This hardware approach is the fastest and most efficient form of confidential computing. Its smart contracts are called Secret Contracts and allow decentralized applications to use private data on Secret, similar to how smart contracts operate on other blockchains. However, Secret Contracts are private by default.

Additionally, Secret Network has launched the Secret AI SDK which uses TEE-enabled GPU hardware, integrated with the L1 blockchain, unlocking privacy-preserving decentraized AI. Secret AI allows for end-to-end encrypted LLM models and AI agents, unlocking private chatbots, DeFAI agents, proprietary AI business models, and more.

Through interoperability via Cosmos Inter Blockchain Communications standard and further integrations of Secret’s Confidential Computing Layer, it unlocks privacy-preserving smart contracts for public blockchains including Ethereum, major EVM networks, and Solana. Making Secret Network the confidential computing hub of web3 and AI.

Ren (REN) is an open protocol built to provide interoperability and liquidity between different blockchain platforms.

Formerly known as Republic Protocol, Ren launched RenVM, its virtual machine mainnet, in May 2020, having completed a $34 million initial coin offering (ICO) in 2018.

The protocol’s native token, REN, functions as a bond for those running nodes which power RenVM, known as Darknodes.

Ren aims to expand the interoperability, and hence accessibility, of decentralized finance (DeFi) by removing hurdles involved in liquidity between blockchains.

Self-described as "Polkadot's wild cousin," Kusama is an experimental blockchain platform that is designed to provide a massively interoperable and scalable framework for developers.

Kusama is built on Substrate — a blockchain building kit developed by Parity Technologies. Kusama has almost the same codebase as Polkadot — one of the most successful interoperable blockchains.

By deploying on Kusama, fast-paced projects gain access to a highly scalable, interoperable sharded network, with features that are not yet available on Polkadot. To that end, Kusama describes itself as a “canary network.”

The platform is designed to provide a testbed for developers looking to innovate and deploy their own blockchain and can be used as a preparatory network before launching on Polkadot — though many projects opt to stick with Kusama for their final product.

Kusama benefits from a low barrier to entry for deploying parachains, low bond requirements for validators, and is most commonly used by early-stage startups and for experimentation.

Moonbeam is an Ethereum-compatible smart contract parachain on Polkadot. Moonbeam enables the use of popular Ethereum developer tools to build or redeploy Solidity projects in a Substrate-based environment.

Moonbeam is much more than just an EVM implementation: it’s a highly specialized parachain that mirrors Ethereum’s Web3 RPC, accounts, keys, subscriptions, logs, and more. The Moonbeam platform extends the base Ethereum feature set with additional features such as onchain governance, staking, and cross-chain integrations.

Linear is a decentralized delta-one asset protocol capable of instantly creating synthetic assets with unlimited liquidity. The project opens traditional assets like commodities, forex, market indices and other thematic sectors to cryptocurrency users by supporting the creation of “Liquids” — Linear’s synthetic asset tokens.

The protocol consists of various products like Linear.Buildr, a DApp used to manage Liquids using Linear (LINA) and other tokens as collateral. The exchange is specifically created to enable trading of a variety of Liquids with rapid confirmation times and robust security.

LINA is an ERC-20 token built on the Ethereum network whose main purpose is as collateral for Liquids (using Buildr) and for community governance of the protocol. All token holders have access to the Linear DAO, enabling them to vote on different initiatives and proposals, helping to shape the development of the Linear ecosystem.

The main goal of Linear is to provide a superior user experience with better scalability and greater speed thanks to the cross-chain capabilities of the protocol. Linear Finance intends to provide a simple solution for users that want exposure to traditional assets while still benefiting from the features enabled only by blockchain technology.

Karura is an all-in-one decentralized finance (DeFi) hub and stablecoin platform built on Kusama (KSM) and integrated into Polkadot (DOT). Karura was created by the Acala Network, which has won four Web3 Foundation grants and founded the Substrate Developer Academy.

Both Karura and Acala are backed by multiple funds, including Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Polychain Capital and Hypersphere. Karura and Acala operate in parallel. Specifically, Karura is implementing DeFi on Kusama in the same way that Acala is offering DeFi on Polkadot. The network is built with almost the same codebase as Acala: the two platforms provide scalable, convenient and fast DeFi cross-chain ecosystems for Kusama and Polkadot.

The platform itself provides a multi-collateralized stablecoin backed by cross-chain assets (kUSD), a trustless staking derivative (liquid KSM), and an automated market maker (AMM) decentralized exchange (DEX) for unlocking liquidity and supporting financial innovation.

Karura is the decentralized financial hub of Kusama, a scalable multi-chain network for radical innovation and early-stage Polkadot deployments. Karura is the sister network to Acala. It hosts multichain liquid staking token (LST) protocols (such as liquid KSM - LKSM), an AMM decentralized exchange, and an app platform that is EVM-compatible and highly customizable (based on Substrate). Karura is secured by Kusama, and is the liquidity gateway of Kusama parachains, Acala and L1/L2 blockchains

Band was launched in 2019 on the Ethereum blockchain as a decentralized oracle network, designed to bring real-world data into smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). Initially, it addressed a core Web3 challenge: enabling blockchains to access external information securely and reliably.

In June 2020, the team released Bandv2, migrating the network from Ethereum to the Cosmos ecosystem. This decision was driven by Ethereum’s scalability limitations at the time and the unique advantages of Cosmos’ Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol. With IBC, Band became one of the earliest oracle projects to enable fast, cross-chain, and scalable data transfers—strengthening its position as a foundational layer for decentralized applications across multiple chains.

Over the following years, Band expanded its integrations and established itself as a critical data provider for Web3 applications, from decentralized finance (DeFi) to gaming and prediction markets. Its native token, $BAND, has remained central to the ecosystem, powering transaction fees, data requests, validator staking, and governance, while also being actively traded on major exchanges.

In 2025, the project underwent a major rebrand, evolving from Band Protocol to simply Band. This transformation came with a bold new vision: to become “The Unified Data Layer for AI & Web3.” Alongside this rebrand, Band introduced two flagship product offerings:
Band v3: the next evolution of its decentralized data network, featuring broader data coverage, reduced latency, and expanded developer tools to accelerate dApp innovation.

Venus is an algorithmic money market and synthetic stablecoin protocol launched exclusively on Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

The protocol introduces a simple-to-use crypto asset lending and borrowing solution to the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem, enabling users to directly borrow against collateral at high speed while losing less to transaction fees. In addition, Venus allows users to mint VAI stablecoins on-demand within seconds by posting at least 200% collateral to the Venus smart contract.

VAI tokens are synthetic BEP-20 token assets that are pegged to the value of one U.S. dollar (USD), whereas XVS tokens are also BEP-20-based, but are instead used for governance of the Venus protocol, and can be used to vote on adjustments—including adding new collateral types, changing parameters and organizing product improvements.

The governance of the protocol is entirely controlled by XVS community members, since the Venus founders, team members and other advisors do have any XVS token allocations.
