Polka.Domain is an interoperable and decentralized blockchain naming service with an integrated domain and NFT marketplace built on Polkadot.

Secured by the Polkadot network, Polka.Domain aims to integrate crypto addresses to a decentralized domain while preserving user privacy. And accord end-users the ownership of their data and resources.

Polka.Domain further contributes to the grand scene of Web3.0 by 1) offering cross-chain compatibility and interoperability for cross-chain multi-assets transactions and 2) building a decentralized marketplace for domains and NFT for all.

The NAME token serves as a utility token facilitating payments and governance inside the Polka.Domain ecosystem. NAME can be obtained by Domain Mining and is used for any transaction fee associated with domain registration and management, fees associated with domain and NFT auction, exchange and marketplace, staking and governance.

Polka.Domain launched its mainnet on April 16, 2021 with 10 million NAME tokens created at genesis.
