What is Firebird?

Firebird is a game-specialized chain that allows developers to build scalable and frictionless Web3 Games and Metaverse without compromising security.

Being a stand-alone chain built with Cosmos SDK and designed specifically for Web3 games and metaverse, Firebird focuses on blockchain performance to boost users’ gaming experience. With Firebird, we aim to create an efficient chain that enables fast and low-cost transactions, facilitating easy trading for in-game assets.

Who is behind Firebird?

PolkaFoundry, a one-stop production hub for DeFi and NFT apps on Polkadot, was established in 2018 and rebranded as Firebird in October, 2022. Luong San, the co-founder of Icetea Labs and the lead engineer of PolkaFoundry is currently the CEO of Firebird.

Firebird is strongly powered by Icetea Labs, a leading Web 3.0 gaming and metaverse incubator in SEA. As a result, Firebird is able to take advantage of the Icetea ecosystem's outstanding features while also receiving assistance from technical advisors, influential people, accelerator programs, and other sources.

PKF token is Ethereum's ERC-20 token. In the future, when Firebird blockchain launches the mainnet, PKF token holders can swap ERC-20 PKF token for native PKF coin at the rate of 1 for 1.
