SaucerSwap is the leading decentralized exchange protocol on the Hedera network, implemented as a set of non-upgradable smart contracts focused on censorship resistance, security, and self-custody.

SaucerSwap leverages the Hedera Token Service (HTS) for its rapid throughput and low-cost, U.S. dollar-denominated fee structure. Hedera's architecture ensures fair transaction ordering on SaucerSwap. This nullifies the possibility of MEV attacks seen in Ethereum-based protocols like Uniswap.

The protocol has two iterations: SaucerSwap V1 operates as a constant product AMM, while V2 introduces concentrated liquidity for better capital efficiency.

xSAUCE is the liquid staking token of the SaucerSwap ecosystem. Participants deposit SAUCE in the Infinity Pool and receive xSAUCE. Initially set at a 1:1 ratio, the SAUCE-to-xSAUCE conversion rate is designed to grow over time due to automatic compounding, fueled by SAUCE buybacks and Masterchef contract allocations.

The pool features a threefold yield mechanism:

• Swap Fees: One-sixth of the fees from all SaucerSwap V1 and V2 liquidity pools are collected.
• Farm Emissions: 30% of the Masterchef contract's devcut, currently generating 28.83 SAUCE per minute, contributes to the yield.
• HBAR Native Staking Rewards: The WHBAR contract is proxy-staked to a Hedera network node to earn proof-of-stake rewards, made possible by Hedera's absence of slashing conditions and lock-up periods.
