Merlin Coins (MERC) are ‘Safety-Netted’ digital game tokens which are pegged to at least 1 US Dollar. Similar to BTC, the total supply is capped at 21M coins.

The project is the brainchild of ‘Bitcoin Pete’, who aims to launch an ‘overunity’ series of online games. ‘Overunity’ means that they intend to pay out more than they receive in revenues and this is reportedly made possible by the mining/minting of the coins.
