What Is Metahero (HERO)?

Metahero is a deflationary real utility token that uses an ultra-realistic 3D technology to generate 3D avatars and virtual objects for use across social media, games, fashion, art, and medicine. Launched in June of 2021, with an initial seed fund of $10 million, Metahero hopes to take cryptocurrency adoption to the next level by catalyzing our evolution into a parallel digital universe. Metahero promotes the idea of metscanning―the realistic scanning and transformation of real-life objects into useful avatars within the metaverse. Who are the team behind Metahero

CEO Mariusz Krol (WOLF Group founder) started out his career working with VW, Cern and Bang and Olufson (where he attained a global patent as a young up and coming engineer)

Mariusz then co-founded WOLF, a business founded in 2014 specialising in R&D in the 3D printing and scanning industry. In the time since it's inception it has provided services for partners from huge global brands such as Disney and CD projekt Red

What Makes Metahero Unique?

Metahero is the first project of its kind, planning to deploy a global network of 3D scanning and modelling devices that can be used to create hyper realistic digital avatars with precise biometric measurements, and the software that allows those scans to be utilised in a wide range of applications, from virtual reality and gaming to e‑commerce and healthcare. There will also be the potential to monetise ones avatar via the Metahero marketiplace.

The idea for Metahero.io originated in 2018 when the tech founders, from renowned company WOLF, who had previously worked in the gaming and e-commerce industries, recognised the need for a more efficient and accurate way to create 3D models. They began working on a prototype of a modelling device that could capture objects and environments in unprecedented detail.

In 2021, Metahero.io launched its initial coin offering (ICO) to raise funds for the development and deployment of its network. The ICO was successful, raising over $8 million in just a few days.

Since then, Metahero.io has continued to expand its network, with plans to deploy dozens of devices around the world in the coming years. The team behind the technology itself took full control of the management of the Metahero project in 2022 and have since partnered with a number of leading technology companies and blockchain platforms to further develop its technology and ecosystem.

Token utility

HERO tokens are the primary currency of the MetaHero network and are used to facilitate all transactions within the system. This includes the purchase of avatar scans, virtual try-ons, and access to certain features or services. HERO tokens can also be earned through participation in the MetaHero community, such as by contributing valuable feedback or ideas. In order to interact with any of the services in the Metahero ecosystem, one will have to purchase Hero tokens either directly from exchanges, or via an onramp gateway linked to the open market, built directly into our platform. Either way, the hero token is the key to the use of all services and utilities.

Max supply and business model

There is currently total maximum supply of 9,766,213,274 Hero following a series of token burns from the original 10b supply.

The MetaHero platform generates revenue through a variety of channels, including payments for avatar scans and in-app purchases. To ensure that the community is rewarded for their contribution to the platform's success, we will be sharing 10% of platform revenue with the top 20% of HERO token holders. This distribution will be transparent and implemented on a regular basis to ensure that token holders are fairly compensated for their support of the platform. In addition to platform revenue, the MetaHero company will also earn income through cooperation with other businesses, facilitating eCommerce transactions, and through the use of avatar scans in gaming and healthcare applications.

How Is the Metahero Network Secured?

Metahero runs on Binance Smart Chain and shares the same proof-of-staked-authority consensus algorithm which allows interoperability, lower fees, and faster transaction speed. Proof-of-staked-authority, a.k.a PoSA, solves the scalability problems of proof-of-stake by pre-approving participants that validate blocks and act as moderators of the system. The algorithm is unique in that everyone who wants to be a validator must stake the same amount of funds like every other validator. With the PoSA, consensus validators, token holders, developers, and users can benefit from a dual-chain architecture that benefits users and offers fast and low-cost transactions.
