What Is Pinecone Finance (PCT)?

Pinecone Finance is the next generation of yield optimizer protocol on BSC with the aim of making yield farming more rewarding, sustainable and effortless.

Pinecone differentiates itself from other Yield Optimizers in the following ways:

1. Multiple Strategy Single Asset Farming

Pinecone focuses only on single asset farming in order to avoid the risks associated with farming via LPs. Also for each crypto asset, it will offer multiple farming strategies with different risk/return profiles to help farmerss diversify their investment.

2. Anti Flash Loan Attacks

Pinecone’s flash loan attack defending system works in two levels: It restricts the direct access from 3rd party smart contract and sets max transaction limit per block to ensure no flash loan attackers can profit from dumping large amount of PCT to profit within one block.

PCT is the native utility token that is used for: - Staking where you earn rewards in both BNB and our native token BSC - As we transition into a DAO, PCT will be used to make decisions related to the protocol.

How Many PCT Tokens Are There in Circulation?

Pinecone Finance launched its mainnet on July 22, 2021 with about 24 Million PCT tokens created and distributed.

The Pinecone Token (PCT) has a max supply of 1,000,000,000 and will be released in a dynamic manner correlating to the earnings of Pinecone protocol. For every 1 BNB earned through the performance fee, 4,000 PCT are minted and a % is distributed to holders/stakers.

Who are the team members?

Pinecone was founded by a team consisting of people with over 15 years working experience in various fields including blockchain, finance, gaming, consulting and marketing. All the founding members had served as senior executives including C-level position in top global firms. Most of the team members have worked together on other projects in the past.

The founder & chairman, Jin has been in the crypto space since 2017, and involved in the development of two crypto projects, one has been listed on Binance. Jin was a business consultant in McKinsey. Pincone Finance is his brainchild, and his current endeavour and he holds an MBA from Oxford.
