What Is Tamadoge (TAMA)?

Tamadoge (TAMA) is a meme coin blockchain project whose presale launched in September 2022. The ecosystem combines NFT trading with virtual pets, where users acquire tokens, monitor their development, and participate in battles with other players. The project’s developers pursue the goal of becoming the number one meme coin, the “meme king” of the industry, striving to combine concepts such as the metaverse, play-to-earn (P2E) blockchain gaming, and NFTs.

Tamadoge was born from the Tamaverse project, where players create, buy, breed, care for, and interact in every possible way with pets of the metaverse, competing for crypto prizes. Each fictitious pet of the metaverse is a non-fungible token that can be sold / bought / exchanged in the NFT store. The network is powered by the platform’s native token — TAMA. All transactions in Tamaverse (purchases in the NFT store and transactions between users) are carried out with $TAMA.

The play-to-earn game’s name, Tamadoge, refers to the old-school portable toy — Tamagotchi, a virtual pet created by Aki Maita from Bandai company and Akihiro Yokoi from WiZ.

Who Are the Founders of Tamadoge?

The company was officially registered in Serbia in 2022. Unlike other meme coin projects, whose teams work anonymously or under nicknames, Tamadoge is a product with a doxxed crew.

Its members include:

• Carl Dawkins (head of growth / social media & content manager),
• Neil Palethorpe (senior interaction designer),
• Siphamandla Mjoli (senior blockchain developer),
• Thomas Seabrook (lead game developer), and Eric Lamontagne (full stack developer).

All contributors have been verified by a crypto voting platform CoinSniper to ensure the security of the project and its users.

What Makes Tamadoge Unique?

From day one, Tamadoge introduced its metaverse, Tamaverse, and the native NFT store. Its fast-growing community and keen interest in TAMA coins add extra credit to the project. As mentioned above, the whole point of Tamaverse is centered around Tamadoge pets, inspired by the 90s digital game Tamagochi, whose goal is to take care of a virtual pet.

In Tamaverse, members communicate, compete with each other, and make purchases in the NFT store. Tamaverse chooses the Play-to-Earn (P2E) mechanism, where players who excel are rewarded with TAMA, and the prize fund directly depends on the token trading volume. The winners of the battles receive dogepoints and take place in the monthly leaderboard. At the end of each month, active and distinguished players receive TAMA tokens as a reward.

The metaverse has several games and levels that will only grow as the project develops. All Tamadoge pets are NFTs. They can be bought, sold, traded, upgraded, and earn a competitive edge with the TAMA token without transaction tax. The better the state of the pet in the metaverse is, the higher its worth and cost are.

How Many Tamadoge (TAMA) Coins Are There in Circulation?

The main implementation of the TAMA token is to fuel Tamaverse and Tamadoge pets. TAMA powers the ecosystem by allowing users to create, raise, breed, collect, battle, and trade digital pets.

The blockchain that hosts Tamadoge (TAMA) is Ethereum. TAMA is based on ERC-20 and has a maximum supply of 2 billion coins, distributed as follows: 50% to the presale, 30% to 10-year unlock (to power the project), and 20% to the exchange pool.

The TAMA token has a declining supply and an ever-increasing exposure. The network charges 5% on purchases from an online store on the Tamadoge platform. Then the tokens are burned to prevent the price from dropping. Thus, the project applies scarcity to increase the token cost. 30% of the commissions go to development and marketing, plus fees to build the prize pool. All other transactions of the network, including the transfer of tokens, do not charge tax.

The project is built around a Play-to-Earn (P2E) formula where active players are rewarded additional TAMA tokens. Tamadoge is a deflationary cryptocurrency that helps users compete for top positions on the leaderboard.
