The Dread Coins or $DREAD are the governance cryptocurrency and utility token for the game BRITARIA. These coins are used for a variety of processes and systems in the game. $DREAD is also a deflationary currency, whereby the coins are often burned whenever they are use in-game.

The game, BRITARIA™, is an open-world MMORPG. Inside BRITARIA, you can own land, build their own virtual homes, conquer beasts and your fellow man, collect rare items and resources, dominate the arena, and much more.

The game was inspired by classic MMORPGs like Ultima Online and RuneScape, but it also draws inspiration from famous action RPGs like Diablo and Path of Exile, and mainstream MMOs like World of Warcraft.

BRITARIA is full-loot game, which makes it a very cutthroat world. You kill other players and take their valuables off their dead corpse. Almost all the items in the game, including the deed to your house, your characters, and tamed pets, can be resold at anytime for real money on our Marketplace.
