The identity layer on Lens has two core primitives: Accounts and Usernames.

Accounts are smart contracts using EVM addresses as unique IDs. They're portable for easy use with all Lens features and apps. These immutable Accounts are yours forever. Users can assign managers and set permissions for secure account access.
An Account can have multiple Usernames across different applications. Developers can opt for using the global Namespace for shared Usernames, or create a unique one for custom Username management, monetisation, and rules. 

Introducing Graphs: a new social feature that maps account-to-account connections. 🌐

👩🏻‍💻 Devs can use the global Graph to benefit from shared network effects, or create their own app-level graph.
