A prominent influencer, Logan Paul, has sued Stephen Findeisen, a YouTuber with the channel name Coffeezilla for defamation.&nbsp; 
The defamation <a href="https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/68891856/1/paul-v-findeisen/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">lawsuit was filed</a> in the San Antonio, Texas District Court wherein Findeisen is being accused of making false statements about Paul’s involvement in the CryptoZoo NFT project.&nbsp; 
As stated in the lawsuit, Findeisen allegedly accused Paul of running a scam associated with CryptoZoo, stating that Paul stole money from NFT purchasers intending to deliver on promises that were never met. 
“Paul brings this defamation suit to hold Findeisen accountable for his actions and to hold him liable for the immense harm that he has caused to Paul’s reputation through the intentional and reckless dissemination of defamatory falsehoods,” according to the filing.&nbsp; 
Paul argues that Findeisen left out some <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=386p68_lDHA&amp;pp=ygUWY29mZmVlemlsbGEgbG9nYW4gcGF1bA%3D%3D" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">facts in his videos</a> that would have proven that Paul had good intentions of creating a blockchain game. Paul blames advisors, particularly, Eduardo “Eddie” Ibanez and Jake Greenbaum for the project’s failure arguing that they deceived him.&nbsp; 
Paul first thought of taking legal action in 2022 but instead, he concentrated on a $1.5 million recovery plan for CryptoZoo instead. Paul claims he did not benefit from the project even though he invested in repurchasing NFTs at $1 million.&nbsp; 
The lawsuit also demands compensatory damages above $75,000 plus interest and attorney fees, which Paul says he has lost due to the reputational damage that Findeisen’s videos have caused him.&nbsp; 
CryptoZoo, launched in 2021 as a game where players traded NFT “eggs” for its token ZOO, faced challenges with the token having minimal trading volume and no market capitalization. 
The legal case of Paul demonstrates that there are still many issues in the NFT and cryptocurrency sectors, and the role of social media comments on celebrities and projects.&nbsp;
