Environmental lawyer <a href="https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2022/01/25/robert-kennedy-jr-nazis-anti-vaccine-dnt-brian-todd-vpx.cnn" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Robert F. Kennedy Jr.</a> has filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for president in 2024 as a Democrat, with the filing confirmed on Wednesday, April 5, by his campaign treasurer, John E. He thus warns that this could be ‘the first step towards banning and seizing Bitcoin (<a href="https://finbold.com/topic/bitcoin/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">BTC</a>),’ similar to what the Treasury did with <a href="https://finbold.com/topic/gold/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">gold</a> in 1933.<h2 id="header-0">Kennedy Jr.’s campaign could promote Bitcoin</h2>As a potential presidential candidate, the environmental lawyer’s views on Bitcoin and CBDCs are of great interest to the crypto community.
