The acquisition is poised to potentially double CleanSpark's <a href="https://ultramining.com/news/en/impending-bitcoin-halving-may-trigger-major-hashrate-decline-say-experts/">hashrate</a> in the first half of the year, demonstrating the company's proactive stance in bolstering its mining capacity amidst the crypto industry's anticipation of consolidation due to the expected reduction in mining rewards, according to <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2024/02/06/cleanspark-jumps-on-plans-to-buy-four-bitcoin-mining-facilities-ahead-of-the-halving-.html">CNBC</a>.&nbsp; 
The deal includes three turnkey sites in Mississippi, acquired for $19.8 million in cash, set to close within 21 days. These sites are expected to contribute approximately 14% to CleanSpark's revenue shortly after their integration. Additionally, a facility in Dalton, Georgia, is to be acquired for an initial $3.4 million, with a further $3.5 million investment planned to bring the project to fruition by April, expanding CleanSpark's operational footprint in the region. 
CleanSpark's CEO, Zachary Bradford, highlighted the company's preparedness for this shift, emphasizing their readiness to capitalize on opportunities to integrate new facilities swiftly and efficiently.
