Shadow Market Overview

The Shadow Market introduces:

1. MOBLAND's Real Estate Leasing Economy:  Fractionalized Borrowing/Lending of Turfs & Digital Weed Farms
2. The production of BUD through the consumption of SEED
3. The upgradeability of Digital Weed Farms through the consumption of BUD

A core component of the Shadow Market is the in-game NFT borrowing and lending marketplace. Owners (Lenders) have the freedom to set lending parameters and list assets on the marketplace where Renters (Borrowers) can efficiently search the marketplace to borrow assets.  The platform breaks down barriers to entry, promotes wider participation, and enables renters to utilize Turf & Farms to generate commodities while simultaneously creating revenue streams for lenders.

The Shadow Market’s in-game borrowing and lending marketplace provides:

1. Avenues for owners to earn in the #MafiaMetaverse by renting out their Turf and Farm to players in the ecosystem.
2. Avenues for renters to benefit from the utility of Turfs and Farms without having to own the asset.

How to Use The Shadow Market 👇

Connect Your Wallet

1. Holds your MOBLAND assets
2. Is connected to the BNB Chain
3. Is funded with BNB for gas fees.

Once you have connected your wallet you will navigate to the Shadow Market homepage!

Shadow Market Homepage

The Shadow Market homepage is where you will control your mafia operations.  It displays your

1. BUD & SEED Balances (Top Right)
2. Turf, Farm, Market & Claim Icons (Bottom Left)
3. Farm & Turf Shortcuts (Left Side)

Below, we will dive into details on how to use the homepage to navigate the Shadow Market.

Stake Your Turf/Farm In-Game

MOBLAND Turf must be staked in-game to become operational.  Digital Weed Farms must be staked in-game and deployed on Turf to become operational.

1. Select the “Turf” or "Farm" icon at the bottom of your homepage
2. Select the Turf/Farm you would like to stake and click “Stake”
3. Approve & Confirm the metamask transactions to successfully stake

Deploy Your Farm on Turf

Your Farm must be staked in-game and deployed on Turf to begin producing BUD

1. Select the “Farm” icon on your homepage
2. Select the Farm you would like to Deploy & Select “Deploy on Turf”
3. Select Turf you would like to Deploy Farm on & Click “Deploy”

Plant SEED & Grow BUD

1. Select the “Farm” icon on your homepage or Select a Farm deployed on Turf
2. Select the Farm you would like to Plant SEED in.
3. Select the Greenhouse(s) you wish to Plant SEED in then Select “Plant” at bottom right hand corner
4. Approve & Confirm the metamask transactions to successfully stake
5. Repeat Steps 1-4 until you have planted in all the greenhouses you wish to utilize

Claim BUD

Once you have reached 50% of your farm's BUD storage capacity you will be able to claim BUD. When the claimable level is reached all players growing in the farm and the farm owner are able to claim their respective share.

1. Select the “Claim” icon on your homepage or Select the Farm you would like to Claim BUD from.
2. You will navigate to the Claim page.  Select “Claim All”

Upgrade Your Farm

1. Select the “Farm” icon on your homepage or Select a Farm deployed on Turf
2. Select the Farm you would like to upgrade.
3. Select the “Upgrade” button in the bottom left
4. A window will appear outlining the cost of the upgrade & the result of the upgrade. Select “Upgrade”

Important to note:  After your farm is upgraded the updated attributes will be displayed in-game.  To update the metadata on-chain after an upgrade you must unstake your Farm.

Borrow & Lend on the Market

Lend Your Turfs & Farms

Turf and Farm Owners can list their assets on the Market and rake in SEED payments. Farm Owners also receive a percentage of the BUD produced by the borrower. Listing agreement terms are set by the Turf and Farm Owners.

1. Select the “Market” icon on the homepage then Select “List” at the bottom
2. Select “Turfs” or “Farms” at the top left
3. Select “+” and Select the Turf/Farm you wish to List on the Market
4. For Turfs: Enter the area you wish to lease out then Select “Choose”. For Farms: Select the Greenhouses you wish to lease out then Click “Choose”

6. Approve & Confirm the metamask transactions to successfully stake

Borrow Turfs & Farms

Find yourself without Turfs and/or Farms? Borrow/Rent Turfs and Farms from the Market, which includes dynamic filtering and search capabilities.

1. Click “Market” icon on the homepage and Select “Turfs” or “Farms” at the top left
2. Browse the Market using the filters at the top and/or left of the page
3. Select the Turf/Farm you would like to Rent and click “Rent” at the bottom right.
4. A new window will appear with the Rental Fee. Click “Accept”
5. Approve & Confirm the metamask transactions to successfully stake

Next to each Farm there will be circles representing the number of greenhouses.  Each circle will have a specific color.

Depositing & Withdrawing BUD

1. Select the "Settings" icon in the top right of your screen
2. Select "Deposit" or "Claim"
3. Enter the amount of BUD to Deposit/Claim and Select "Accept"
4. Approve and Confirm your Metamask transactions

Important to Note: SEED involves no depositing or withdrawing. All operations involving SEED occur on-chain and your in-game balance will automatically update after the transcations have been completed on-chain.
