And the potential of the metaverse to accelerate industrial upgrades is enticing businesses to establish a foothold in the new technology frontier.As a result, on December 15, the Chinese province Zhenjiang unveiled its metaverse development plan, with the goal of becoming one of the country&#39;s largest metaverse centers. As per the development plan, the eastern province plans to establish <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/dubai-becoming-a-metaverse-hub-shiekh-hamdan-promises-jobs" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">metaverse-related industries</a> worth more than $28.7 billion by 2025.<h3 id="zhejiang-s-metaverse-development-plan">Zhejiang’s Metaverse Development Plan</h3>Zhejiang is a People&#39;s Republic of China province on the country&#39;s east coast. The province doesn&#39;t have any friendly connections with the cryptocurrency industry, but it has a favorable outlook on NFT and metaverse development.The recent developments are the province&#39;s latest effort to increase the adoption of metaverse technology in the region. The plan, which covers the years 2023 to 2025, outlined several important objectives, including the creation of a full supply chain and industry ecosystem, increased innovation, and the promotion of metaverse applications in industries such as e-commerce and entertainment.Several local government departments, including the publicity department, cybersecurity administration, department of research and technology, provincial department of commerce, and market supervision bureau, are all collaborating on the development plan.However, Zhejiang is not the only Chinese province with metaverse development ambitions. Authorities in numerous major cities, including Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Wuhan, the capital of central Hubei province, have announced similar plans in the last year.This indicates that China is the future global hub for the adoption and innovation of <a href="https://www.coingabbar.com/en/crypto-blogs-details/key-technologies-power-metaverse" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">metaverse technology</a>.
