We must prevent such unilateral decisions,” Onanuga added, advocating for decisive measures against Binance’s operations.</p>
<p>Moreover, the presidential spokesperson discouraged reliance on the parallel market for foreign exchange rates, advocating for the official CBN rate as the legitimate benchmark. “The parallel market operates outside legal bounds. It should not dictate our economic perceptions,” he remarked, highlighting the importance of stabilizing the exchange rate to counteract inflation and price manipulation by importers.</p>
