The Cryptopia team is as much about developing communities as it is about developing a game—which is why we have to be thankful for this year. The bridges we’ve built this year promise an interesting year ahead for our community. So as we close out 2023, have a quick look at our milestones over the past year:<h2 id="header-0">January</h2><ul><li>CoinMarketCap Community Building — we started creating Cryptopia-centric articles exclusive to <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/community/profile/Cryptopia/?type&#61;Articles" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">CoinMarketCap</a>. These pieces provide readers with a deeper understanding of Cryptopia and help spread greater awareness.</li><li>Our 2023 roadmap — we shared what we have planned for the year. After all, you only hit what you aim at.</li><li>Introducing the Cryptopia World Map —  a sneak peek at the game world of Cryptopia where developers showed a preliminary view of the land and sea tiles on which players can build structures.</li></ul><h2 id="header-1">February</h2><ul><li>Cryptopia Cast Season 2 — we kicked off Season 2 by interviewing award-winning Marketing and Visibility coach, Vince Varnock, blockchain legal expert Nicole Lafosse, and beloved community member Spjuthoken.</li><li>P2P Mesh Network Sneak Peek — our <a href="https://whitepaper.cryptopia.com/tech-stack/p2p-mesh-network" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">mesh network</a> improves the game’s speed and stability letting player-run nodes handle less critical processes. Every node is a device that handles networking traffic for Cryptopia.</li></ul><h2 id="header-2">March</h2><ul><li>International Women’s Day - we highlighted contributions by our female team members in Cryptopia.</li><li>Attendance at Coinweb’s DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Inequality — we helped celebrate women’s contributions and achievements in technology.</li><li>Introducing the Mini-map - we first showed our mini-map, a useful tool to help players get their bearings and think out their strategies before taking action. We also introduced a new Cryptopia coin design.</li></ul><h2 id="header-3">April</h2><ul><li>Launched the New Cryptopia Website — our new website sports a new look, a new UI, and new content that clarifies much of the game&#39;s features and concepts.</li><li>Developers&#39; Updates — these include a fresh look at aquatic mammals, vegetation, tile textures, avatar customization, and faction zones.</li><li>Game Trade Market listing — Getting listed under <a href="https://gametrade.market/games/Cryptopia" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Game Trade Market</a> increased Cryptopia’s visibility and interest.</li><li>Grand Quiz Night — The <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/academy/article/a51dbae3-556c-4b5b-9d33-ead4206f40bb" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Quiz Night’s</a> top 3 winners walked away with $USDT and $CRT tokens.</li></ul><h2 id="header-4">May</h2><ul><li>May 5 AMA with Sangho Grolleman — a chance for those interested to <a href="https://clarnium.io/ama/cryptopia-ama" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">ask our CEO</a> anything Cryptopia-related.</li><li>Early Access Ship Giveaway — with the early access ship Neptune as the prize, players compete by completing tasks on Zealy.</li><li>Partnership with Gensokishi, MetaverseGo! And PlayDex</li><li>Appearance at Creator Circle — we met and formed valuable connections with various industry leaders in attendance.</li></ul><h2 id="header-5">June</h2><ul><li>CONquest Festival 2023 — took place in the Philippines from June 2-4, where Cryptopia’s team was present to connect with folks and spread awareness about the project. We were joined by a crowd of over 100,000 attendees each day.</li><li>Partnership with PlanckX — we joined PlanckX, a platform for promoting blockchain games, to conduct cross-marketing initiatives.</li><li>Developers&#39; Updates — our devs featured additional concept art of buildings, beautification of environments, optimization of the map, UI improvements, integration of various models, and player controls during tile scenes.</li></ul><h2 id="header-6">July</h2><ul><li>New Discord Milestone — we hit an amazing 30K members on Discord! The community keeps growing!</li><li>July 28 AMA with Sangho Grolleman</li><li>Web3 Community Summit — Cryptopia&#39;s team attended the <a href="https://medium.com/&#64;VibeTV.app/web3-community-summit-37cc022f3dc4" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Web3 Community Summit</a> organized and hosted by Yield Guild Games and YGG Pilipinas.</li></ul><h2 id="header-7">August</h2><ul><li>3K CoinMarketCap Milestone — We hit 3,000 followers!</li><li>CoinGape Interview with Frank Bonnet — Frank talks about <a href="https://coingape.com/cryptopia-interview-frank-bonnet/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">how Cryptopia came to be</a>.</li><li>Early Access Ship Raffle Giveaway — captioned &#34;Ready to set sail into a new era of gaming?&#34; Players could win a ship by following Cryptopia, retweeting posts, and tagging friends.</li></ul><h2 id="header-8">September</h2><ul><li>Cryptopia in TOKEN2049 — Held last September 13-14 at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Cryptopia attended this prestigious event as a gold member!</li><li>New partnerships with Trikon, HYME, and Metacade</li></ul><h2 id="header-9">October</h2><ul><li>The YGG Bitpinas Webcast with guest speaker Sangho Grolleman — In this October 26 webcast leading up to the YGG summit, Sangho shared some “Lessons From Launching Web3 Games,” which included our “experiences on launching a web3 game compared to traditional games, building a community in the Philippines, and promoting crypto adoption through gaming.”</li><li>Zebu Live attendance — Cryptopia&#39;s Business Development Manager, Yanni, made waves at London&#39;s Biggest Web3 Event.</li><li>Cryptopia Zealy Campaign - The Cryptopia Zealy Campaign welcomed participants, offering them the chance to win substantial prizes.
