When it comes to setting up and managing masternodes, a time consuming task was the need to restart the serverside daemon each time a new masternode was added or deleted. This was a disruptive process, especially for those, that are managing many masternodes on a servers command line.The need to restart the daemon arises because changes have been made to a masternode specific configuration file, that you may have noticed before. The daemon is responsable to connect and communicate to the network and perform some ground functions. When adding or deleting a masternode, the configuration file needs to be updated to reflect the new or removed masternodes. In order for the daemon to read, load and apply these changes, it had to be restarted.However, <a href="https://github.com/decenomy/DASHD/releases/tag/v2.1.2.0" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">with the new Dash Diamond (DASHD) </a>and the <a href="https://github.com/decenomy/FLS/releases/tag/v3.0.2.0" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">new Flits version</a> there is a new way to set up new masternodes (or delete them) without restarting the daemon. This is accomplished by implementing a new mechanism that allows the daemon to dynamically read and apply changes to the configuration file while running.This greatly simplifies the process of adding and deleting masternodes. It will save a lot of time that was caused by restarting the daemon regualry and also reduce the timeframe for nodes that have been initially restarted.Setting up and managing masternodes can still be a complex process for many. These changes are also made to prepare features of the <a href="https://decenomy.net/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">DECENOMY </a>(DCY) hosting solution <a href="https://flitswallet.app/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">FLITS (FLS)</a>, that currently is getting rearranged to host plenty of the DCY Masternodes.
