 <p>Rockstar Games released the first trailer of <a rel="dofollow" title="GTA 6" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gta-6.html">GTA 6</a> this week gaining nearly 100 million views in less than 24 hours. The game is now confirmed to be released in 2025 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The PC version might be released later and no tentative date has been confirmed. However, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick had hinted early this year that <a rel="dofollow" title="GTA 6" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gta-6.html">GTA 6</a> could be priced at above $70.</p>

 <p>Zelnick stressed in an interview early this year that $70 <strong>“is very very low”</strong> for the experience they’re offering in GTA 6. <strong>“There is a great deal of value offered,</strong>” he said indicating that the game could beat all expectations. Therefore, GTA 6 could be the first game to be priced at a premium and not the regular $49 per copy that previously was the industry standard.</p>

The hint, though not official, has made us believe that <a rel="dofollow" title="GTA 6" href="https://thebittimes.com/tag/gta-6.html">GTA 6</a> could be the most expensive that Rockstar Games has released. Zelnick had also hinted that he likes the idea of paying per hour to play the game. However, not many details about the idea are out at the moment. Introducing the pay-per-hour concept could be difficult to turn into reality.</p>

Which is to say the per-hour value times the number of expected hours plus the terminal value that’s perceived by the customer in ownership if the title is owned rather than rented or subscribed to. And you’ll see that bears out in every kind of entertainment vehicle. By that standard, our frontline prices are still very, very low because we offer many hours of engagement,”</strong> he said.</p>
