<p>In a July 09 blog post, the Bored Ape Yacht Club creator Yuga Labs confirmed launching Bored Ape-inspired socks. The new Bored Ape-inspired socks are part of the ‘pack the Boat’ pre-order exclusive merch bundle ahead of the ApeFest event in October 2024. Recently, Yuga Labs launched ApeFest-branded T-shirts.</p>

The web3 lifestyle and media company is also home to CryptoPunks and Meebits NFT collection. Earlier this year, Yuga Labs acquired Proof Collective, which encompasses large NFT collections and projects such as Moonbirds, Oddities and Grails.</p>
<p>In its recent development, Yuga Labs has launched Bored Ape skull-branded socks. The merch is a part of the preparation for the ApeFest event set to happen in Lisbon, Portugal. The highly awaited event will start on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 9:00 AM (GMT+1) until Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 5:00 PM (GMT +1). Yuga Labs hopes its attendees will wear Bored Ape-branded clothes to make the event colourful.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, Yuga Labs has received massive criticism from its crypto and non-fungible token communities on X, with most of the users citing the quality and the style of the socks. Most users never expected Bored Ape Socks, pointing fingers at Kevin Rose, the creator of Moonbirds, for the idea. However, some users have embraced these products, and they are ready for pre-order.</p>
