The newly launched zkEVM Testnet block explorer provides users with the ability to search for tokens, contracts, transactions, and more. 
Builders can also query the RPC endpoint, simplifying development and testing on the platform. These early developments offer a preview of the potential when mainnet <a href="https://coingape.com/tag/layer-2/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Layer 2s</a> go live on Ronin, possibly around Q1 2025. The prospect of creating a custom-fit blockchain to support games on the leading gaming blockchain presents vast opportunities for innovation and growth.

This groundwork is crucial to ensure a seamless transition and robust functionality for future mainnet deployments. Developers will soon be able to bridge testnet RON from the Saigon Testnet, a capability essential for those looking to experiment and build on the new platform. 
Launching a zkEVM chain on the Testnet will require becoming a Testnet Validator, reflecting the future requirement for Mainnet Validators to launch zkEVM on Mainnet. The Ronin team is diligently working on detailed developer documentation, which will be available in the coming months. This documentation will provide essential guidelines and resources for developers eager to explore the capabilities of the zkEVM Testnet and prepare for the eventual mainnet launch.
