<p>On April 1st, Flipkart, an Indian e-commerce company, surprised their users with a tweet that announced that they would be accepting Bitcoin as a new mode of payment. This tweet caused a lot of excitement among Twitter users, with some people thinking it was an April Fool’s joke, while others welcomed the move towards using Bitcoin.</p>

<p>On April 1, Anatoly Yakovenko, the CEO of Solana, announced the launch of a new Solana-based token called “BunkerCoin.” This token was meant to make fun of the overly complicated architecture of new cryptocurrencies.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Yakovenko claimed that the BunkerCoin token operated on shortwave radio channels and used several complex technologies, including ZkProofs, Groth16 proofs, and a Nakamoto-style longest chain rule.</p>

<p>One of the most talked-about jokes was when Toilet Paper Token surpassed Bitcoin as the biggest cryptocurrency. Bitcoin has been dominating the cryptocurrency market for years, but Toilet Paper Token apparently traded higher than Bitcoin on CoinMarketCap.</p>
