CoinMarketCap (CMC), one of the most reliable cryptocurrency data sources, is launching the first-ever CMC Crypto Awards. The annual event will be hosted online from February 21 to March 6th. The event will award and recognize standout individuals and projects shaping Web3. It’s starting today. Vote for your favorites starting now. 
The CMC <a href="https://coinmarketcap.com/events/cmc-crypto-awards-2024/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Awards</a> will recognize achievements in eight different categories across the industry. Some categories include:

 <li> Meme Coin of the Year </li> 
 <li> Most Innovative NFT and Gaming Project </li> 
 <li> Crypto of the Year, </li> 
 <li> Bridge Builder of the Year </li> 
 <li> Social Influencer to watch </li> 
 <li> Most Innovative DeFi Project, </li> 
 <li> Most Innovative L1/L2 Cross Chain Project </li> 
 <li> Crypto Leader of the Year. </li> 
</ul>

Furthermore, the award nominees will be revealed daily starting on February 22 on CMC’s website and social media accounts. The public can vote until March 3rd, and the winners will be revealed on March 6th. Several factors decide the winners. This includes community votes, professional committee analysis, and data from CoinMarketCap. 
Reacting to the event, Rush Luton, CEO of CoinMarketCap, said:
